Muziekkwartier Enschede (the Netherlands)

Under the direction of six professional music organizations, the City of Enschede and the province of Overijssel, the new Muziekkwartier ("musical quarter") in Enschede (the Netherlands) opens in november 2008. The complex houses a theatre hall with 1000 seatings, pop stages, a musical education school, rehearsal rooms for the conservatory, catering and offices.

Lagotronics delivered around 600 metres DecaLED® Cove Flex RGB to Lightco. The products have been installed in dozens of round coves in the walls of the theatre by Kropman Installatietechniek. The setup is completed with 21 DecaLED® Controller 3's. The circular shapes, which vary in diagonal, can be lighted in any desired color. This enables the technicians of the theatre to extend the ambience of a play from the stage into the theatre hall, enhancing the experience for the audience.

Furthermore, DecaLED® Flex SC was mounted into serveral round fixtures in the ceiling of the theatre's foyer. In this situation, the product is used as functional lighting.
