Limburgs Museum (The netherlands)

The Limburgs Museum is an historical museum in Venlo. The museum has an extensive archeological collection. It contains carnival-related objects, devotionalia, agriculture tools, kitchen utensils and textile (clothing) and more.

The exhibition Zwerkballen, grobbebollen en toverkollen tells about witches and wizards from the past and present. In an accompanying educational project "A pointing finger with great consequences" the theme "wrongfully accused" receives special attention. Situations from the past are linked to the present.

The R&D-departement of Lagotronics developed for this exhibition a custom version of the LagoTRIG® shooting system, shaped like a magic wand. By pointing the (wireless) wand at various targets throughout the exhibition, visitors can trigger multimedia presentations, videos and animatronics. The exhibit is an interactive experience for all ages.
