Chateau Jemeppe (Belgium)
In Hargimont, Belgium at a 45 minutes drive from Brussels, one can find the grandly restored Chateau Jemeppe. Chateau Jemeppe was constructed around the year 1270 by owner Jean d'Ochain to protect himself and his family and nationals. The castle is characterized by its typical medieval architecture.
Currently in mid-2008, the Chateau Jemeppe is an extremely high quality accommodation for seminars, product presentations and other business events. The Chateau has several high-equipped conference, meeting, banquet and event halls. There are also more than 70 rooms available which allows you to spend a stylish night in a medieval atmosphere.
Lagotronics supplied and installed the full audiovisual equipment and lighting in and around the Chateau. A sizeable job, where the different facets of audio, video, lighting and its centralized control was the biggest challenge for the Lagotronics project team. With specialists in each of these areas and an experienced installation team, it was possible for Lagotronics to finalize this project swiftly while maintaining high-quality standards.
Grand Hall
The grand hall features a host of new audio and video equipment. The centrally located bar, for example, makes use of a Hitachi CP-X 505, a 3500 ansilumen strong projector attached to a Vogels suspension system, with an electrically operated Projecta screen. Both systems operate by an AMX Novara panel. The addition of the AMX system makes it possible to control the entire area from this AMX Novara panel.
The hall was also equipped with various Show tec moving heads, Show tec LED Pars and RGB Vano spots from the International LightACTS product range. The DJ booth was also equipped with professional audio equipment, namely six EV ZX-3 speakers, two EV RX 118s sub, one EV CP 3000 amp, a CP 2200 and CP 1800 amplifier, two Denon DN-HS-1200CD/MP3 players and three Sennheiser EW 165 G2 wireless microphones were installed for a guaranteed high-quality audio experience. During festivities, a Dateq Vibe mixer will be used.
Small hall
A sound system was installed in the small hall consisting of six EV ZXL i-100 speakers, two EV CP 2200 amplifiers, a Numark CDN22 dual CD player, a Dateq Crew mixer and a Sennheiser EW 165 G2 wireless microphone. In addition, the main lighting is provided by 26 Aixlight Pro III units.
Bar
The installation in the bar was kept relatively equal to that of the small hall. For example, a sound system was installed consisting of six EV Evid 4.2, an EV CP 1800 amp, a Numark CDN22 double CD player, Dateq Crew mixer, Marantz tuner and a 7001 pro Sennheiser EW 165 G2 wireless microphone.
The audio of the large hall, small hall and bar can be centrally controlled by means of the BSS Soundweb lite DSP8; a high-quality digital three-zone mixer.
Courtyard
The nostalgic courtyard was equipped by Lagotronics with various International LightACTS fixtures. The end result is a high quality and attractively-lit courtyard.
Donjon tower
The Donjon tower, the highest tower of the Chateau Jemeppe is equipped by Lagotronics with about 27 metres of LED lighting. These are installed in the window frames on the top floor of the Donjon tower. The warm white DecaLED® Cove Flex combined with red window frames adds a mysterious atmosphere to the Chateau, which starts to be visible at dusk.
