TelevizierRING (the Netherlands)

Between the years 2000 and 2002, the annual Televizierring award ceremony was a big assignment for Lagotronics. Annually, more than 600 metres of LagoLED® RGB strips were used in the Televizierring set.

The 2000 Televizierring award ceremony was a huge technical challenge for Lagotronics, seeing as LED lighting had only been available for a short time. In addition, LEDs were still very expensive and those that passed Lagotronics's quality requirements were in short supply. Lagotronics took on the challenge and developed a profile to which the LED strips could be mounted. With the special neon-line insert, the three-colour LEDs on the LagoLED® RGB strips could be mixed with the opal of the neon-line insert.

With some 600 metres of specially produced LED lighting, these Televizierring sets were the trendsetters for contemporary TV and theatre sets. The annual Televizierring ceremony was broadcast live from the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.
