Warning lights at pedestrian crossings

Road accidents involving pedestrians often cause serious injuries or even death, particularly at zebra crossings. Such crashes are becoming more common and the majority takes place at dusk or in the gloomy winter months, when there is less contrast.

With its Signflash and Levelite technology, ReGuard has responded to demand for preventive products. Scientific research shows that both products are highly effective. With Signflash, drivers will give way to pedestrians more frequently, while Levelite noticeably reduces the speed at which drivers approach zebra crossings. The systems can be used separately as well as in combination with each other.

Signflash

This system is mounted to existing traffic signs and starts flashing when a pedestrian is approaching the zebra crossing to warn drivers in advance. The system can also be powered by solar energy. Two Signflash systems are required for one crosswalk. [Read more]

Levelite

Levelite modules generate a LED highlighting system on the road. The system is sunken into the asphalt on the same level as the road's surface. The illuminating modules draw the attention from great distances, alerting drivers to the possibility of pedestrians crossing the road up ahead. [Read more]
