LagoLED Safeguide Strips for Theatre De Kring

Schouwburg De Kring is located in the heart of Roosendaal (the Netherlands). Recently the interior of the theater has been given a facelift. This has resulted in a theater with a fresh, contemporary look that meets the requirements of today. During the renovation the theater choose for durable, energy efficient LED lighting. An idea that also fits today.
Lagotronics BV supplied the LED lighting products that were applied in the interior of the auditorium. Approx. 140 meters of LagoLED® Safeguide Strip SC HD in warm white colour were installed in (existing) stair nosing profiles. Additional 10x10 mm tube inserts were fitted with an opal lamination. As power supply four pieces of Meanwell SD-200B/24 200W are used. To adjust the light output of the LagoLED® Safeguide Strips during performances, four pieces of DecaLED® Dimmer for 12/14 VDC are used. The installation has been done by the fieldcrew of Lagotronics BV.
Marijn de Kok interior architects designed a balustrade around the balconies of the auditorium, which features wooden slats, with a three dimensional relief pattern. Behind the slats, a total of 34 meters of DecaLED® Cove Flex RGB has been installed. The control consists of two pieces of DecaLED® Controller 3 Mini, a DecaLED® Controller 3 and a LagoLED® Fader Panel DMX. The LEDs in the balconies create a special depth in the railing, and also enhance the atmosphere in the theatre. During performances it is possible to adjust the LED lighthing in the railing to match the stage lighting. This increases the audience?s experiences during a show.
