Bose installation Stadium VVV-Venlo

Friday November 28th, the local soccerclub VVV-Venlo played against Fortuna Sittard. The match, also known as the Limburgian derby, was started with the introduction of the newly expanded sponsorsplatform. A total of 208 extra seats were created, which sets the total capacity of stadium "De Koel" in Venlo (the Netherlands) to 6208 seats. VVV-Venlo won the match, with a 2-0 advantage.
Lagotronics, as shorts- and AV-sponsor of VVV-Venlo, was contacted to expand the audio installation for the new platform. Next to the addition of 2 extra Bose 402 speakers, the total sponsorsplatform was equiped with an extra amplifier, to enhance the audiodistribution even further. The speakers of the sponsorsplaform were disconnected from the speakers in zones VN1-VN5.
With this expansion in the stadium, it was also decided that Lagotronics will be responsable for management and operational control of the audio installation in the future. This way, both VVV-Venlo and Lagotronics hope to enhance speech intelligibility and general quality of the audio.
Lagotronics installed the full Bose audio installation in the stadium in 2004, which made it the first Bose Pro Partner that equipped a soccerstadium with Bose speakers.
