Stylish LED lighting for dental practice

In the beginning of 2009, Dental team de Besterd took residence in a new practice building in Tilburg, the Netherlands. Here you can find complete dental care. Hoppenbrouwers Elektrotechniek bv was responsible for the installation of a number of mood-enhancing LED lighting products from the DecaLED® product range.
Above the reception desk, in the waiting room and the hallway where the treatment rooms are located, 43 metres of DecaLED® Cove Flex RGB has been mounted in coves in the ceiling. The flexible LED strip above the reception desk and in the hallway is being controlled using a DecaLED® Controller 4, allowing smooth colour transitions. The DecaLED® Cove Flex RGB in the waiting room is set to a comfortable colour with the help of a DecaLED® Controller 3.
Along the outside windows on three sides of the building, a total of 90 pieces DecaLED® Color Bar 18 RGB (without lenses) have been mounted in coves over a length of 54 metres. Controlling these is done using 15 pieces DecaLED® High Power DMX Controller TV. Because of the positioning of the installation of DecaLED® Color Bar 18 the insides of the pratice builind is enhanced with a colour accent by day. By night, the LEDs illuminate the outside through the windows. This ensures that the building of dental team de Besterd is very recognizable in the streets of Tilburg.
A Sweetlight SSA 19" Professional centralizes, automates and facilitates the control of the installation. Without technical knowledge, the lighting can be manually controlled, or run a preset program.
