In collaboration with ETF Ride Systems, the supplier of the transport system, Lagotronics BV developed an interactive dark ride called "Motor Mania". Guests participating on this ride go on a journey through the world of motorsport in XXL size. Each player operates a shooting device resembling a petrol nozzle. Participants can score individual points by ?shooting? at the various targets in the scenery along the ride.

Depending on the number of points collected, each guest can assemble their ?dream car? at the end of the ride. The challenge is to to collect all the best car parts for this purpose. As far as interactive rides go, "Motor Mania" is a truly cutting edge experience.

The dark ride operates eight ETF Multi Mover carts with six seats each. Each guest has their own LagoTRIG2® trigger device and personal scoring display in front of them. The Multi Mover vehicle, based on a trackless ride system and guided by a wire from the floor, can rotate on its own axle and is powered by batteries. The use of an infrared safety system ensures that the vehicles respond automatically to possible obstacles or other vehicles.

The ride contains 48 LagoTRIG2® trigger devices, custom-shaped as petrol nozzles. They are cast in durable fire-retardant polyester reinforced with aluminium parts. The devices use infrared technology in combination with red LED lights, which are eye-friendly, easy to use and have the German TÜV approval certificate.

During the ride, guests can ?shoot? 120 LagoTRIG2® Mini Targets installed in the scenery that light up in different colours. Each colour represents a different number of points, which is added to the total score of the individual participant when the target is hit. All data is transmitted wirelessly to the central control computer.
