DecaLEDŽ Color Spots for Wijnfort Lent

A centuries-old, historical defence fort has been transformed from cultural heritance to one of the most unique entertainment buildings in Europe, during the last twenty years: the Winefort (het Wijnfort). The excentric fort lies at the bank of the Walloon in Lent, near Nijmegen (the Netherlands).
P. Graven Elektro Service was requested to install LED-fixtures for lighting the impressive outer brick walls of the fort. In cooperation with the sales consultant from Lagotronics, a combination of 16 DecaLED® Color Spot 3's and 2 DecaLED® Color Wash 36's were chosen.
The IP67-rated DecaLED® Color Spot 3's are flush-mounted in front of the facade. Each fixture is fitted with 3 high power Luxeon LED's and 10° lenses. As a result, the RGB-lighting reaches over the full height of the building, and also lights the strained sails above. A DecaLED® High Power DMX Controller TV is used to control the setup. The DecaLED® Color Wash 36's were introduced to lighten the strained sails at the upper level in an effective and homogeneous way. A very satisfying visual image is achieved using the selected LED-products.
