DecaLED® Controller 4
To support the installers of new products like the highly popular Cove Flex RGB and SC we developed the DecaLED® Controller 4. Meeting the demand for a controller like the DecaLED® Controller 3, but with increased power outputs that can handle greater lengths of Cove Flex. This resulted in the production of the DecaLED® Controller 4 with a built-in 300W PSU that can control big quantities of various 24VDC LED products using 2 outputs instead of 8. The biggest improvement is the possibility to control up to 20 metres Cove Flex (per output) instantly without having to run additional wiring. The DecaLED® Controller 4 provides the same short circuit protections as all the other DecaLED® Controllers to ensure safe and reliable use.
Like its smaller brother - the DecaLED® Controller 3 - it has various setup possibilities built-in and can be used in nearly every installation using LED lighting fi xtures based on 24VDC. By combining both standalone functions and DMX control, it can handle nearly every task. The DecaLED® Controller 4 has 10 built-in programs which can be adjusted in speed, intensity and fade time using the DecaLED® Setup-Tool. The extended possibility to control all outputs separately through DMX makes the DecaLED® Controller 4 a competitive and interesting item to be included in high-profile installations. The outputs and DMX in and output are now equipped with screw-terminals making swift and accurate installation possible. Another unique positive feature is the integration of MOSFETs that make short circuits and their potentially dangerous effects impossible.
Like the DecaLED® Controller 3, it has a built-in PSU of 12.5 Amp potentially providing 300 Watts. This makes it possible to connect various products in the DecaLED® and even LagoLED® product range. For wiring and daisy chaining regulations, please note the diagram shown below.
A very interesting accessory is the unique Control Remote in combination with the infrared eye. The Control Remote makes it possible to adjust the colour or preset program of your installation with the press of a button, making it very easy to change colours and so changing the total atmosphere in a room, restaurant or even complete facades. With the supplied extension IR eye, it is possible to mount the controller abpve the ceiling and install the IR eye in a wall or roof. Note that the Control Remote can also be used for other controllers and in combination with the DecaLED® IR eye.
